Hoian is the musical project of Zena Zerai, a musician and producer from Wirral, Merseyside, born to Guyanese and Eritrean
parents now living in South London.
The project was conceived during lockdown, where Hoian wanted a way to create full compositions combining instinctive melodic prowess with a love of experimentation and began learning production at home. From this Hoian was born.
